Branch Manager
Essential Functions
- Hire and supervise employees who meet all critical requirements and qualifications for each position (counter sales, warehouse, delivery drivers and others as approved).
- Review work throughout the work process and at completion, in order to ensure that it has been performed effectively.
- Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing levels, to ensure that activities are performed effectively, and to respond to fluctuating workloads.
- Communicate with employees on a regular basis to insure procedures are followed, new procedures and methods are considered and new approved methods or procedures are known and carried out on a timely basis.
- Work the parts counter on a weekly basis to ensure proper procedures are being followed and to maintain familiarity with the processes.
Qualifications: Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree in Business Administration is preferred.
Qualifications: Experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the heavy-duty truck parts industry, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
Qualifications: Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Counter Parts Sales Representative
Essential Functions
- Help determine and obtain heavy-duty parts for customers as requested by phone or in person. Suggest sale of related parts for full service
- Handle warranty or defective parts for customers in accordance with company procedure
- Process approved credits for customer when merchandise is returned.
- Deliver orders to customers on an infrequently assigned basis; parts delivery acounts for 10-15% of time.
Qualifications: Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows XP components
Qualifications: Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in sales; sales of heavy-duty truck parts prefererred
Qualifications: Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Outside Sales Representative
Essential Functions
- Develop a thorough understanding of the customer base in the territory including: current product offerings, FleetPride penetration, where other products are purchased and at what price, competition analysis.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales and gross margin objectives for the territory.
- Expand marketplace through the introduction of new products and services to new and existing customers.
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates.
