The 3M 2" x 132" 1200 Grit Coated Aluminum Oxide Super Fine Abrasive Belt features advanced self-sharpening pyramids that maintain sharpness and operate at cooler temperatures compared to conventional abrasives. The belt's design with flexible backing allows it to adapt seamlessly to contoured surfaces, providing uniform finishing results. It is particularly suited for intermediate finishing tasks and fine polishing, ideal for preparation before plating or buffing procedures. It yields finer finishes than those achieved with conventional electrostatically coated abrasives, making it suitable for detailed and precise finishing requirements.
