The Baldwin 5-3/8" Spin-On Coolant Filter is designed to protect your engine and enhance its performance. This filter is designed for use in plain water or in up to 60 percent antifreeze solutions. It is also designed to supplement coolant additives to help you maintain your diesel engine cooling system. The filter is balanced with a phosphate/molybdate/nitrite-based inhibitor used to protect the engine cooling system. Furthermore, this inhibitor adds chemicals to the coolant itself to replenish important protectants that may be lost over time. This filter is easy to install and will help keep your engine running smoothly and efficiently.
