The Bendix Single Terminal LP-3 Low Pressure Indicator is designed to complete an electrical circuit and actuate a warning light and buzzer when the air pressure in the service brake system is below a minimum level for normal operation. This low pressure indicator is a pressure-operated electro pneumatic switch with a closing pressure of 75 ± 6 psi and a current rating of 10 A at 12 volts. It is generally used in conjunction with a dash mounted warning lamp to alert the driver of a low pressure situation.
