The Donaldson cartridge oil filter element is designed to remove particulate contaminants from engine lubricating oil systems. It consists of a replaceable filtration media element housed within a compatible filter assembly. The cartridge construction allows the element to be replaced while retaining the outer housing. It is used in automotive, heavy duty, and industrial engine lubrication systems requiring cartridge type oil filtration.
