The IDEAL 83-9421 Non-Insulated Female Disconnect Terminal is engineered for secure and efficient electrical connections in demanding applications. Designed for 16 to 14 AWG conductors, this terminal features a 0.11 x 0.02 inch tab size and a shouldered barrel, facilitating precise crimping and reliable performance. Constructed from brass with a titanium nitride (TiN) plating, it offers enhanced corrosion resistance, ensuring longevity and consistent conductivity. The terminal's dimensions are 0.63 inches in length and 0.126 inches in width, making it suitable for various industrial and commercial electrical systems. Its non-insulated design allows for direct integration into circuits where insulation is not required, streamlining the assembly process and reducing component bulk. The shouldered barrel design aids in proper wire positioning during crimping, while the TiN plating provides a durable surface that withstands environmental factors, maintaining a secure connection over time. This terminal is rated for 300 VAC and can operate effectively at temperatures up to 221°F, accommodating a wide range of operational conditions. By incorporating the IDEAL 83-9421 terminal into your electrical systems, you can achieve reliable and efficient connections, contributing to the overall performance and safety of your equipment.
Butted seam construction prevents splitting under maximum pressure
Internal barrel serrations grip wires tightly to resist pull-out and reduce electrical resistance
Shouldered barrel insulation quickly positions terminal for proper crimping
Expanded insulation entry accommodates a wide variety of insulation diameters and provides additional insulation support
